BioFlorida serves its membership by providing a network to exchange information and discuss issues related to the field.     The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), is a trade association that leads the effort to advance medical technology in order to achieve healthier lives and healthier economies around the world. AdvaMed represents 80 percent of medical technology firms in the United States and acts as the common voice for companies producing medical devices, diagnostic products and health information systems. 
  • Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO)
    The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is the world’s largest biotechnology trade association. BIO is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. They provide advocacy, business development, and communications services for more than 1,100 members worldwide. It is our mission to be the champion of biotechnology and the advocate for our member organizations - both large and small.

    Florida ExpertNet is a statewide portal of applied research expertise in Florida's universities. Florida ExpertNet is designed to provide quick and easy access to university-based resources and expertise to assist in practical solutions for business, industry, and government. Produced and made available through the Clearinghouse for Applied Research, ExpertNet makes it easier and faster for users to reach major groups of faculty in specialized fields in any of Florida's universities.
  • Florida Medical Manufacturers Consortium
    The Florida Medical Manufacturers Consortium (FMMC) is a statewide association of medical technology firms.  The FMMC exists to unite, promote and grow the Florida Medical Device Industry, and to enhance the business success of its member companies.
  • Florida Research Consortium
    The Florida Research Consortium (FRC) is a strategic partnership of education, business and government formed specifically to advocate for knowledge-based economic development in Florida. Founded in 2001, FRC works to increase awareness of the cutting-edge research that is under way throughout the state of Florida and to enhance the diversity and strength of Florida’s innovation economy through the commercialization of that research.
  • Florida Venture Forum
    The Florida Venture Forum is a statewide member organization that helps entrepreneurs obtain funding through education, strategic partnering and effective networking. The Forum's educational programs provide in-depth information on topics such as raising debt and equity capital, human resources, finance, management, term sheet negotiation, valuations, marketing and R&D. Offering candid management and financial advice, and hands-on technical assistance, these programs offer a valuable learning experience for entrepreneurs and growing companies. 
  • Gold Coast Venture Capital Association
    The Gold Coast Venture Capital Association was founded in the fall of 1984 as a not-for-profit corporation to assist the entrepreneurial community of South Florida. Although the Association does no direct funding or matching of investors with those seeking funding, it develops and presents monthly programs which are designed to provide information and assistance to start-up, emerging and established growth companies while offering a unique venue for investors and investees to come together.

    Southeast BIO (SEBIO) is a regional non-profit organization that fosters the growth of the life sciences industry in the Southeastern United States through efforts that promote entrepreneurship and bring together the key players active in the development of the industry. SEBIO’s geographic footprint presently includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. 
  • Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF)
    The Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) is dedicated to growing and promoting Tampa Bay's technology "eco-system.” Through events, education, networking, advocacy, and philanthropy programs, they provide targeted forums to bring technology and business leaders, investors, government, researchers and educators together.
