Kicking off 24-hours of prime networking, relationship-building, and education, the Southeast BIO Investor & Partnering Forum returns to South Florida November 6-7, 2019 at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. Register today to take advantage of reduced rates.

Among the Forum highlights will be the keynote address from Dennis Purcell. Mr. Purcell is the original Founder of Aisling Capital LLC and currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Aisling. Previously, he served as the Senior Managing Partner. Prior to Aisling Capital, Mr. Purcell served as Managing Director of the Life Sciences Investment Banking Group at Chase H&Q (formerly Hambrecht & Quist, “H&Q”). While at H&Q, he was directly involved with over two hundred completed transactions and supervised over $10 billion of financing and advisory assignments in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medicalproducts industries.

In addition, Forum attendees can look forward to a Women In Life Sciences Panel featuring Sue Washer of AGTC, Heather Behanna, PhD of Carol A. Schafer of Hyphen Advisors, LLC, and Cynthia (Cindy) Collins of Editas Medicine. Plus a group of corporate VCs including John Gustofson of AbbVie Ventures, Gladys Nunez of Amgen, Diana Bernstein of MRL Ventures Fund, and Akhil Saklecha of Cleveland Clinic Ventures.

The rest of the agenda will be full of panels, networking, and a pitch competition.

The 2019 SEBIO Investor & Partnering Forum will be held at The Biltmore Hotel, a National Historic Landmark,locate in the exclusive Coral Gables area, with close proximity to Miami Beach and Downtown MIami.

The Biltmore has a special reduced rate for attendees of $289.00 per night plus taxes and resort fees. Our block or rooms is reserved Tuesday, November 5 - Friday, November 8, 2019. Guests opting to arrive early or remain after the Forum may inquire about extending our discounted rate as well.
