As the statewide trade association for the bioscience industry, BioFlorida was formed to advance Florida’s life sciences cluster, and represents approximately 200 member companies/organizations in the state of Florida.
Our Vision

To create and maintain a favorable business and legislative environment;

To advance the commercialization of bioscience research;

To work with investors, private enterprise, government, academia and the financial and service sectors to further develop existing companies, launch start-up companies and attract new business to Florida; and

To bring all the players together to lead business, education, technology transfer, workforce development and financial opportunities to Florida’s bioscience industry.
Our Mission
It is BioFlorida’s mission to be the voice of the industry: To focus on creating and maintaining a favorable business and legislative environment for the industry as well as advancing the commercialization of research. BioFlorida’s leadership and team of professionals are dedicated to serving its membership, and the industry, to increase resources and talent to Florida’s growing market. Further, it is our common goal to respond to the needs of our membership - as well as our industry partners - and work with investors, private enterprise, government, academia and the financial and service sectors to further develop existing companies, launch start-up companies and attract new business to Florida.
