Established in 1997 as a non-profit bioscience organization, BioFlorida has grown with the industry, working for and with companies and individuals ranging from Fortune 1000 corporations to small start-up companies. BioFlorida was formed to advance Florida’s life sciences industry, and represents just under 200 member companies/organizations in the state of Florida. The association focuses on initiatives that positively influence the growth of the life science industry, including capital formation, public policy, workforce development, and scientific discovery and development. BioFlorida continues to build partnerships and solid relationships focused on the industry’s needs and the organization’s mission.
